Diggers, we
Miners of profundity:
Seekers of tranluscent gems
Lining darkened, ancient dens.
 
Monsters loom where the heart weeps
In places where Cerberus keeps
The tiger who by fierce desire
Has bred a world of heavenly fire.
 
What the aged hammer clang?
The sparks that serve the gorgon fang?
Or is the ferocious urge
The means of the demiurge?
 
A Telos then within the storm:
Man the angel guarded [...]
